The Massachusetts Audubon Society is the largest conservation organization in New England, concentrating its efforts on protecting the nature of Massachusetts for people and wildlife. Mass Audubon protects more than 30,000 acres of conservation land, conducts educational programs for 250,000 children and adults annually, and advocates for sound environmental policies at the local, state, and federal levels.
This agency is charged with the care and oversight of the natural and cultural resource of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
The Highland Communities Initiative (HCI) is a grant-funded program to promote land conservation and community preservation in rural western Massachusetts.

The Massachusetts Broadband Institute is progressing quickly building a 1300 mile fiber optic network in western and north central Massachusetts. This network is going through 123 communities and will greatly affect schools, libraries, town halls, medical facilities, public safety, private business and residents alike.
This is a comprehensive website created by the MBI to enable veterans and their families to be able to search all the benefits that they are entitled to in an easy one stop fashion. As there are so many well deserving veterans in our communities we really need help getting the word out on this great tool.
