BOARD OF HEALTH

        The meeting was opened at 7:00 PM and the 4/02/08 and 4/16/08 minutes were approved.

        The 4/28/08 Departmental Payments to Treasurer were approved.

        Notices from the Zoning Board of Appeals, WMPHA, and BCBOHA were received with no action.

        Tina Sweet Massage Therapy registered as a business in the Town of Becket.  At this meeting also the Board was notified that towns “no longer have direct oversight of massage therapists”.

        The Mass Pike Yearly Operational Plan was filed.

        The Board was notified by the Mosquito Control Board that we must publish a Notification of Spray Application by May 15.

        The Arbovirus Surveillance Program summarized some changes in their program.  We listed the Berkshire County Mosquito Control Project as our 2008 Dead Bird Registry.

        BCBOHA notified us of their new Listserve.

        John Daniels was issued a letter concerning the need to clean his lot of trash.

        BCBOHA sent a packet of materials including flash drives.

        Soil Suitability Assessments were approved at:

                        2089 Jacobs Ladder Road         Map 205 lot 77

A Title 5 Inspection was approved at 2089 Jacobs Ladder Rd. (205/77)




Application for Disposal System Construction Permit were approved at:

                        1123 County Road                        Map 401 lot 13
                  210 Goodwin Road                      Map 210 Lot 20
