January 10, 2008 Minutes

The meeting was called to order at 7:05pm.
1. Minutes of January 3rd – Approved
2. Request Transfer from Reserve Fund to Outreach Program for $1021.32
3. Approved draft of FINCOM report for Annual Report
4. Report from Mike Falk on the discussion with Rep Denis Guyer regarding the McNerney Road Bridge.
Rep. Guyer is committed to making sure Becket has the necessary funding needed.
5. Reviewed first draft of FY2009 Warrant
a. Proposal from Lenny – Highway Dept – Trade in truck #5 towards a new 2008 and purchase a new machine to help with snow removal on projects. Steve is going to look into this request in more detail and then report back to FINCOM.
6. Audit. In progress; no new information
7. Becket Tax Bill vs Others
a. Only Becket and Goshen Average tax bill went down
8. Review $60,116.02 CBRSD Capital Surplus (Becket / Washington) - Richard to explore to see if we have choices.
There was no public input.
